1. About AudSite
AudSite provides automated website audits, web-based findings and downloadable reports. In these terms, “AudSite”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to the operator of the AudSite service. You can contact us through our contact page.
2. Your account
You must provide accurate information, keep your password secure and tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account. You must be at least 18 years old or have authority to act for the organisation purchasing the service.
3. Permission to audit websites
You may submit only websites that you own, manage, or have permission to assess. You must not use AudSite to probe private networks, disrupt a website, evade security controls, harvest data or infringe another person’s rights.
4. Nature of reports
AudSite reports are automated, preliminary assessments based on the pages and signals available at the time of scanning. They are intended to support professional review and prioritisation. They are not a formal WCAG certification, legal opinion, penetration test, guarantee of search ranking, complete site crawl or guarantee that every defect will be identified.
You remain responsible for checking findings before relying on them or sharing them with a client. Websites and third-party standards change, so findings may become outdated.
5. Plans and allowances
The £9 report pack provides five report credits. An Agency subscription provides up to 20 reports per billing period, together with agency features such as branding, team access and report history. Pack credits remain available until used; unused Agency allowances do not roll over unless we expressly say otherwise.
6. Payments through Paddle
Paid transactions are processed and sold by Paddle, our authorised reseller and merchant of record. Paddle handles checkout, payment methods, applicable transaction taxes, receipts, subscription billing and payment-related support. By purchasing, you also agree to the applicable Paddle Buyer Terms.
Subscriptions renew automatically for the period shown at checkout until cancelled. You can cancel through the link in Paddle’s confirmation email or the available account billing controls. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period.
7. Branding and uploaded material
You retain ownership of logos, colours, business details and other material you provide. You give us a limited permission to store and use that material only to operate AudSite and generate your reports. You confirm that you have the right to use it.
8. Acceptable use
You must not misuse the service, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorised access, resell access contrary to your plan, upload unlawful material, or use reports deceptively. We may suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect the service, third parties or comply with law.
9. Availability and changes
We aim to provide a reliable service but cannot promise uninterrupted availability. We may maintain, secure or improve the service and may change features where reasonably necessary. Material changes to paid services will be communicated where appropriate.
10. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation. Subject to that, AudSite is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, loss of profit, business, goodwill or data arising from reliance on an automated report. For business users, our aggregate liability relating to a purchase is limited to the amount paid for the affected service during the previous 12 months, to the extent permitted by law.
11. Ending access
You may stop using AudSite at any time and may cancel a subscription before deleting an account. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach, fraud, unlawful use or serious risk to the service. Provisions that by their nature should continue will survive termination.
12. Governing law
These service terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer rights that apply where you live. Paddle’s Buyer Terms separately govern your transaction with Paddle.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service or law changes. The date above identifies the current version. If a material change affects an active subscription, we will provide reasonable notice where required.
